Heart On The Mend happily welcomes Lori Proctor as the new Chief of Operations who brings over 30 years of extensive nursing experience ranging in acute and long term care, quality management, nursing consultation and supervision, public health, allied health and clinical nursing education characterized by a wealth of practical experience ranging from clinical nurse, adjunct instructor to nursing administration. She also brings administrative leadership and clinical case management of $1.4M State funded Cancer Screening Programs for The Cancer Prevention, Education, Screening and Treatment (CPEST) Program and the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP), including proven success developing and sustaining public/private sector partnerships with businesses, union, and/or community organizations.

E. René Soulé is a certified Small Entrepreneur by LA Economic Development Agency and registered Federal Contractor. He is a proven business leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that discovers opportunities and determines how to leverage those opportunities into greater success for your organization.

Rene’ brings over 25 years of public-private Organizational Management and Leadership Development skills and experiences; he has vision, passion, and drive. He resides in Slidell, LA and is married to Doris Marie Soule’; they have four children. He owns and operates E. Rene’ Soule’ & Associates, a business management consulting firm.

Heart On The Mend happily welcomes Dr. Jerry Carbo to the Advisory Committee

Dr. Jerry Carbo is an Associate Professor of Management at the Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University. He teaches courses in Employment Law, Labor Relations, Business and Society, HRM and Organizational Behavior. Dr. Carbo’s research includes workplace bullying and harassment, employee rights, socially sustainable business systems and union reform and revitalization. Dr. Carbo has been a professor at Shippensburg University since 2007. Prior to joining the Grove College of Business he was the Director of the MBA program at Fairmont State University. Dr. Carbo was also an Employee Relations Manager for Carrier Corporation and HR Manager for Alcoa-Fujikura Limited. Dr. Carbo has a JD from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, and a PhD and MILR from the Industrial and Labor Relations School of Cornell University. Dr. Carbo is a Board Member of the National Workplace Bullying Coalition and was recently appointed to the EEOC Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace.
